Roma 1-2 AC Milan | Giroud and Leao Scored to Make Milan Three Wins in a Row
In the third round of Serie A, AC Milan came to Stadio Olimpico and finally won 1-2 against Roma, keeping three consecutive victories so far in the season and temporarily ranking first in the table. Olivier Giroud helped his team take the lead in the 9th minute of the first half with a penalty kick. Rafael Leao then scored a brilliant hook shot to give the visiting Rossoneri a 0-2 advantage going into the second half.
Shortly into the second half, Milan defender Fikayo Tomori was sent off for a second yellow card for a foul, and the team had to continue the game with 10 men. However, Roma failed to capitalize on their chances to get closer until the 90th minute, when Spinazzola scored a goal, but it couldn't change the fact that the team suffered a second defeat and only got one point after three rounds of the new season.
